As a non-profit chapter of Romance Writers of America, the Alaska Chapter (AKRWA) is focused on developing and encouraging writing among our members, both published and unpublished. Through monthly meetings and critique groups, mentorships, retreats, conferences, seminars, book signings, media relations, and contests, we support all stages of a writer's career.
We invite you to visit our monthly chapter meetings -- they are open to the public and you may visit up to three times without committing to membership.
Benefits of AKRWA membership include unlimited monthly chapter meetings, critique group support, social networking, the annual retreat, and much more.
You must be a member of the national Romance Writers of America to join AKRWA. Romance Writers of America® (RWA) is a nonprofit trade association whose mission is to advance the professional interests of career-focused romance writers through networking and advocacy. RWA works to support the efforts of its members to earn a living, to make a full-time career out of writing romance—or a part-time one that generously supplements his/her main income.
The AKRWA yearly membership rate is $30.00. Download the membership application below.
